Crisis situations, ever fluid and volatile, have a unique impact on nonprofits. But, what happens when crisis strikes? As a professor of communication at the University of Central Florida, and a communication consultant and trainer, I try to find ways to serve the nonprofit community. I have helped nonprofits in their overall communication efforts, strategic planning, donor relations (especially generational differences in giving), professional development/training, as well as leadership and coaching efforts.
